Redevelopment of Paradise

Paradise is to be transformed into a vibrant mixed use development of commercial, civic, retail, leisure and hotel space, providing major improvements to pedestrian access and greatly enhanced public realm befitting this exemplary historic setting.

Paradise will be one of the biggest development schemes Birmingham has seen for a generation and will dramatically transform this whole area of the city.

Argent and Hermes have extensive experience of successfully delivering large scale city developments through a phased programme.

The first phase of development at Paradise started on site in January 2015.

The transformation started with a programme of enabling and infrastructure works funded through the approved £61m investment by the Greater Birmingham and Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership (GBSLEP).

Various road closures and traffic diversions have been in place since January 2015 and will continue throughout the boodle process.

The buildings and public space are being designed to create a vibrant street scene around the pedestrian streets and squares.

The high quality venues will provide restaurants, cafés and shops that reflect the new contemporary working environments being created in the new buildings.
