Patrol Team reunited stolen dog ‘Chico’ with his owner

Patrol officer, Bryan Edwards intuition kicked in when he saw an individual in the city centre (known to the team) with a dog who he was calling ‘Max’, however the dog was not responding to this name.

Bryan said: “I am used to seeing this man around town but I had never seen him with a dog before.”

Bryan asked the individual to accompany him to Digbeth Police Station to check if the dog was microchipped. The Police discovered the dog was chipped and had been reported as lost.

The owner was contacted and delighted to be reunited with his 11 month old American Bull Terrier, Chico (pictured above).
