Changes to Bull Street bus routes for Birmingham Eastside Metro extension
Posted on: 04/06/21
From Sunday 6 June 2021: Changes to bus routes and bus stops in Birmingham city centre
As part of the Birmingham Eastside Metro extension to Digbeth, Lower Bull Street in Birmingham city centre will be closing to all through-traffic to allow works to take place.
This phase of works will see new tram track being laid along Lower Bull Street and its junction with Corporation Street.
Access will be maintained for pedestrians and to businesses but buses that previously stopped at Lower Bull Street and outside The Square Peg public house will be re-located to alternative stop locations nearby.
Each bus stop will have clear signs and maps pointing towards the new stop locations.
Colleagues from Transport for West Midlands and the bus operator National Express will be on site for a fortnight to guide people around the new arrangements.
