Work progressing on vast Primark Pavilions project

Work is progressing on the vast Primark Pavilions development, which will transform the retail offer in the High Street area.

The image below – taken from the front of the store gives a glimpse of the scale of the scheme as the cladding is installed. And it has been confirmed three former Pavilions stores will return as part of the flagship development.

Thorntons, Three mobile and H&M women’s brand Monki, will all be self-contained and open directly on to High Street. Thorntons and Three will flank the main Primark High Street entrance on the left while Monki will sit to the right of it.

The most recent latest planning application submitted to Birmingham City Council seeks permission for new signage for the three retail brands and mock-up images of the redevelopment have also been updated to incorporate the three new additions (pictured right).

A spokeswoman for Primark said: “Thorntons, Three and Monki (H&M) are all existing tenants of this store but are now fully self-contained with direct High Street access.”
