We are turning ‘blue’ in support of ‘One Day for Children’ at #CWC19

Retail BID are very pleased to support ‘One Day for Children’ by turning our tree lights ‘UNICEF blue’.

ICC Cricket for Good, in partnership with UNICEF, is delivering ‘One Day for Children’ at #CWC19. The tournament-wide #OneDay4Children campaign will be celebrated at the England v India game at Edgbaston on 30 June where fans will be treated to a Men’s Cricket World Cup match like no other.

The #OneDay4Children match will be special, with the players, the sell-out crowd and global audience all playing a part in the celebrations. Edgbaston will turn blue whilst players will support the campaign with special one off #OD4C branded kit. Celebrities and legends of the game will join the action with unique activations and fundraising both in stadium and across the live broadcast.

This will see the world of cricket and its one billion fans unite to ensure that children across the world have the chance to play, learn and be healthy. The money raised through #OneDay4Children will support UNICEF’s work for children in cricket playing nations across the world, with many projects usingthe unique power of cricket to deliver these objectives.
