Notice of HS2 utility surveys in Birmingham city centre

Over the next coming months, HS2 will be working on roads in central Birmingham to help plan their future utility diversions and prepare for the construction of the railway.

To carry out the utility works safely, HS2 will be putting temporary road closures in place, as a result, there will be some changes to bus services. See which buses are affected here

These works will be taking place on Moor Street Queensway, Albert Street and Masshouse Lane from 20 March to 24 May 2019 from 8am to 6pm. See the specific dates for the following work below:

Moor Street Queensway: 20 March to 30 March and 23 May to 24 May

Albert Street: 25 March to 27 March and 2 to 4 April

Masshouse Lane: 26 March to 1 April and 17 April to 30 April

Access to properties and pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the works and the surveys will be carried out in phases to keep disruption to a minimum.
