Free Project Griffin training available for local businesses

West Midlands Counter Terrorism Unit are offering free Project Griffin training in the city centre aimed at public facing businesses.

There will be two sessions taking place in the Council Chamber at Birmingham Council House, on Friday, 6th July and Thursday, 4th October.

Project Griffin is a national initiative to protect our cities and communities from the threat of terrorism. Its aim is to increase public and staff awareness of how best to reduce and respond to the most likely types of terrorist activities.

West Midlands Counter Terrorism Unit will be sharing their expertise on Current Threat, Suspicious Behaviour, Bombs and Suspicious Items and Firearms or Weapons Attack.

The training will last approximately two hours including a comfort break. CT Awareness handouts for colleagues will be available to take away with them.
