City Social announces return to Suffolk Street Queensway Underpass in Spring

Following the success of 2017 events, City Social is scheduled to transform Suffolk Street Queensway Underpass again for a series of events across 2018.

Food and music festival, City Social announced its first 2018 event at the Suffolk Street Queensway Underpass on 3-28 May.

The event will trade seven days a week from 12noon – 7pm Sunday to Wednesday and 12noon – 9pm Thursday to Saturday.

In the week, traders will serve up local food, drink and offer visitors retail therapy as well as a full entertainment schedule of local acoustic artists, DJ’s and live bands.

Bespoke set-ups and vehicles will include pimms, burgers, juice & smoothies, desserts, Caribbean cuisine, Peaky Blinders bar & retail from Sadler’s Brewery, ABK Bavarian beer, fish & chips, Indian street food from Mahirs, a City Social bar and more.

To accompany Spring at City Social’s local traders and entertainment schedule, additional activities across the 26 days include a screening of the Royal Wedding from 12 noon on Saturday 19th May, a Peaky Blinders themed event on Friday 18th May from 6pm and an opportunity for local Birmingham businesses to reserve an area for themselves to enjoy the events activities, food & drink.
