Get ready for BID’s city centre dinosaur trail this Summer

Visitors to the city centre can look forward to a roar-some summer after Retail BID confirms plans for a city centre-wide topiary dinosaur trail.

The BID has funded the trail and is working with Birmingham City Council’s Parks & Nurseries Department to make the seven topiary dinosaurs an eye-catching, colourful attraction for families.

They will be unveiled at the same time as the highly-anticipated arrival of Dippy the Dinosaur at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery.

The dinosaurs will be located at key sites to encourage footfall across the whole of the retail area and a trail map will be available for visitors to be able to hunt down all dinosaurs.

Thousands of free tickets to see Dippy have been snapped up for when the world-famous exhibit visits the city during his UK tour between May 26-September 9 and the topiary trail will be another way of entertaining families during their visit to the museum.
