Renowned local artist Jon Jones at Castle Fine Art has produced a new oil painting, depicting the notorious Peaky Blinders gang for a charity raffle in support of the Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
The painting, entitled He Who Fights by the Sword, is the covetable prize in a month-long charity raffle, hosted by Castle Fine Art in the Mailbox. The gallery will launch its fundraising raffle on Saturday 2nd December, 1-3pm, with all the proceeds raised going to the Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
The Birmingham-born painter has worked meticulously with archived material from the West Midlands Police Museum for his collection depicting the Birmingham-based, but now world-famous, Peaky Blinders gang.
The raffle for the He Who Fights by the Sword original oil painting will run until Saturday 23rd December accompanied by a wider exhibition of Jon Jones’ art during this time.
